IGI PRESIDENT ARUN G. RAO INTERVIEWED ON CBC NEWS NETWORK REGARDING FLYNN’S SENTENCING DELAY
On December 18, 2018, the President of IGI, Arun G. Rao, was interviewed by CBC News Network’s Andrew Nichols with respect to Michael Flynn’s sentencing delay and its potential impact to the Mueller investigation.
When asked for his reaction to U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan’s decision to delay sentencing until 2019, Rao said, “Judge Sullivan, who is known for being exceptionally independent-minded, was strongly suggesting the defendant, Mr. Flynn, may end up serving some jail time today, and that he should consider requesting a delay in sentencing if there was additional cooperation to be conducted that might result in additional reduction to the sentence.”
