A pioneer in the industry, IGI has continued to innovate in recent years, anticipating the new speed and complexity of financial investigations and moving into new fields in its deepening regulatory practice.

Vance, Jr., most recently in a select bureau targeting international financial crimes. In New York, Jon also led the prosecution into widespread corruption in a large university and served as a trial lawyer in the Sex Crimes Unit.

“Jon’s prosecutorial experience positions him well to manage the complex fact and financial investigations for which IGI has been known for 30 years,” said Wendel. “We are fortunate to add his experience, expertise and leadership to IGI’s team. His executive management and supervisory skills will enhance our capabilities and his familiarity with the firm will smooth the transition into his leadership role.”

In his new role, Lenzner will help guide the firm’s client work in areas such as anti-corruption and anti-competitive behavior, internal corporate investigations, and corporate regulatory relations.

“As much as I loved serving as a prosecutor, I am excited to start a new chapter with a successful firm like Investigative Group International,” Jon Lenzner said about his joining IGI. “For 30 years, IGI has been a pioneer in the industry and I look forward to helping the firm expand into new fields around the world.”

“Any firm would welcome a lawyer and investigator with Jon’s background as a prosecutor,” Terry Lenzner said. “We are in the business of getting to the bottom of complex cases, and Jon has delivered precisely that for both the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Manhattan District Attorney. As we continue to expand globally and in new practice areas, Jon will bring the leadership and vitality critical to keeping our clients ahead of the curve.”
