Gabriel Kader

Managing Director

Gabe Kader is a Managing Director at IGI, where he advises corporate, institutional, and individual clients on high-stakes vetting, internal investigations, and complex research matters. He brings more than two decades of experience in government, law, and political campaigns, with a particular focus on vetting, investigative research, and legal strategy.

Prior to joining IGI, Kader served on the Harris–Walz Presidential Transition as Deputy Counsel and Deputy Director of Vetting and Research, where he helped build and lead the legal team responsible for evaluating all potential presidential appointees. From 2022 to 2024, he served in the White House Presidential Personnel Office as Associate Counsel and Deputy Director of Vetting, overseeing the vetting of President Joe Biden’s nominees and senior executive branch appointees.

Kader also served as Senior Counsel to Chair Richard Durbin on the Senate Judiciary Committee, where he evaluated federal judicial nominees and advised on a broad portfolio of legislative matters. During the Obama administration, Kader served in the White House Counsel’s Office and the Presidential Personnel Office.

Before entering government, Kader spent approximately a decade working in national politics, primarily as an opposition researcher. Among other roles, Kader served as Research Director for Tim Kaine’s 2012 U.S. Senate campaign and as a researcher at the Democratic National Committee for President Obama’s 2008 campaign.

At IGI, Kader leverages his extensive public- and private-sector experience to conduct sensitive vetting of executive candidates, support internal investigations, and advise clients on reputational, political, and legal risk.

Kader holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
