IGI PRESIDENT ARUN G. RAO QUOTED IN AP ARTICLE REGARDING FLYNN’S SENTENCING DELAY
On December 18, 2018, IGI President Arun G. Rao was quoted in the Associated Press article, “Judge delays Flynn sentencing, ‘not hiding disgust’ at crime.”
Rao, a former federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, said Flynn’s defense memo was “striking because it’s ‘inconsistent’ with Flynn’s cooperative stance so far,” and noted the possibility that “in this very unusual situation” it could be “a play for a pardon.”
