Former federal prosecutor and IGI CEO Jon Lenzner spoke to The Washington Post about the nomination of Robert K. Hur to the post of U.S. Attorney in Maryland.

Lenzner described Hur as “highly intelligent, ethical and unwavering in his pursuit of justice, but he also has a great sense of humor and is not afraid to be compassionate and understands the human side of a case.”

As Lenzner said, “There may be a lower-level or mid-level staffer who works for a senior official that is under investigation. Those individuals who work for them may want to hire their own counsel because they may have been privy to conversations or meetings that investigators are going to want to ask them about.”
